When the nation's governors wanted the story on sprawl ... they asked Tom Hylton. Hylton presented the keynote address at the National Governors' Association Winter 2001 Conference in Washington.
Each of the governors was given a copy of his book and his public television documentary.
"The lively question and answer session with the governors following Hylton's talk demonstrated he did a great job communicating the fundamental principles of smart growth."
- Gov. Parris Glendening
